For some reason the pple around me never play games, much less mmorpgs. Last week for the first time I met like one....one person at last that plays FFXI... on a different server. >.>;; Soooo.... see the wonders of this game!

Yep, FFXI online is probaby one of the best MMORPGs out there I think. It is mostly free of cussing little kids and the environment is pretty much a mature place unlike some other games. It can be both easy and hard. Easy if you play normally. Hard if you are the hardcore endgame players that like to calculate every stat against endgame mobs.

Of course this being a MMORPG its still different from the WoW-soloFTW type ones. If you try soloing on here then you will pretty much get your ass pwned. FF revolves around communication and groups/partys to defeat mobs later on in the game. (some soloable jobs tho) Presently some of the other goodies in the game include missions, quests, pet tournaments, PvP, battle fields, battles in cities(beseige), chocobo breeding/racing/betting, etc.
